Lawn Care and Snow Removal You Don't Have to Chase Down
A lawn that looks sharp every week without you thinking about it, and a driveway that's clear before you leave for work. Sunnyside is an owner-operated crew out of Taylor handling mowing, feeding, mulch, and edging in season, then plowing and salting all winter. Always accepting new clients for lawn care, snow removal, or both.
Residential & Commercial · Licensed & Insured · Serving Metro Detroit Since 2020
You get an even, healthy yard from the first cut in April to the last cleanup in November — thick enough to crowd out weeds, green through the July heat, and edged so the whole property looks finished. That comes from working with how Michigan turf actually behaves: cool-season grass on heavy clay that wakes up hungry, surges in May, stalls in midsummer, and pushes again in September.
Our full lawn care program in Metro Detroit adjusts as the season moves: taller cuts in the heat, feedings timed to how Michigan turf actually grows, and fall aeration and overseeding to fix the compaction clay soil creates. Beds get the same attention through our landscaping services — mulch, hedges, and clean spade edges.
Come November the mowers come off the trailer and the plow goes on. Our snow removal service covers the same neighborhoods, so your property is on a route we already know in the dark at 4 a.m. You don't have to use us for both — we're always accepting new clients for lawn care only, snow only, or the full year.

Calvin Palmer Jr. started Sunnyside with a mower, a trailer, and a short list of neighbors in Taylor. That's still how it runs — he's on most jobs, he answers the phone, and if something isn't right he comes back and fixes it.
The equipment is commercial grade: zero-turn riders for open turf, a walk-behind for gated backyards, a skid steer for heavier work, and a plow truck with salt for the winter. It's the same crew year-round, which is why we know which driveways are tight, which lots ice over first, and which lawns need an extra pass in July.
